How to play Wordle?

The goal of the game is to guess the hidden word. Start by entering a word on the first line that has the correct number of letters. Keep in mind — it must be a real, valid word.

After typing the word, press the Enter key on the virtual keyboard. Then, take note of the color highlights on the letters.

If a letter stays gray, it’s not in the hidden word at all. If it turns yellow, the letter is in the word but in a different position. If it turns green, the letter is in the correct spot.

Remember, letters can appear more than once in the word. So if a letter is highlighted in yellow or green, it might show up again.

Next, enter another word on the second line and press Enter. Use the clues from the first guess to guide your next try.

Keep guessing new words in the following rows until you figure out the hidden word. Once you're done, share your results with friends. Best of all — you can play as many times as you like!
